Every great community has to start somewhere — and in Fatal Frontier 1869, ours begins the same way it did in the mining camps of old: with a saloon. Earlier this month, we welcomed a new face behind the bar — say hello to Charlie the Barkeep! 🍻

Back in 19th-century Alaska, the very first permanent building to rise in a gold camp wasn’t a church or a courthouse — it was the saloon. These rough-hewn wooden halls became the beating heart of every frontier settlement, serving up food, whiskey, gossip, advice, and the occasional brawl.

In that same spirit, our saloon is now open, and Charlie is here to keep the fire stoked, pour the whiskey, and make sure every pioneer feels welcome. He’s not just our barkeep — he’s our new Community Manager.

So raise a glass and give him a warm welcome. The frontier is a wild place, but with Charlie behind the bar, you’ll always find a place to gather, trade stories, and plot your next expedition.
